What is danmanchi manga?

DanMachi, also known as Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka, is a Japanese light novel series written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. It has been adapted into a manga series by Kōshi Tachibana and illustrated by Kunieda.

The story follows a young adventurer named Bell Cranel who explores a massive dungeon, called the "Dungeon," in the hopes of becoming stronger and achieving his dream of becoming a great adventurer. Along the way, he meets other adventurers and gods who aid him in his journey.

The manga adaptation began serialization in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine in 2013 and is still ongoing. Several spin-off manga series have also been released, including Sword Oratoria, which follows the adventures of Aiz Wallenstein, one of the main characters in DanMachi.

There have also been several anime adaptations of the series, including two seasons of DanMachi and a spin-off series for Sword Oratoria. The series has gained a significant following worldwide, with many fans drawn to the unique setting and characters.
